Rihanna'southward nonprofit organisation, the Clara Lionel Foundation, appear yesterday (Mar 21) that information technology would donate US$v million (S$seven.25 one thousand thousand) towards coronavirus response to help the needs of families impacted by the COVID-nineteen pandemic.
The foundation said that the donation would go toward groups including Straight Relief, Feeding America, the World Health System's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, Partners in Health, the International Rescue Committee and others.
The money volition be used towards providing protective equipment and preparation for health workers, supporting US food banks for at-risk communities, establishing intensive care units and distributing respiratory supplies, accelerating testing and care in places including like Haiti and Malawi and boosting efforts to create vaccines and other therapies to deal with the new coronavirus.

Rihanna started the foundation in 2022 and named it subsequently her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwaite.
